I have been a resident in Poppleton since 2019 after being resident in Surrey for 20 years. While in Surrey I served the local community as a Board member with Mole Valley Housing, and Eldon Housing Association. I participated in the regional NHS panel, and took an active part in the local council residents consultative groups. This ensured that the residents voices were taken into account in the provision of community facilities and services.
I joined the Upper Poppleton Parish Council in July 2019 as a co-opted member with the objective of ensuring the local area and its amenities meets the needs of the community. Poppleton villages proved an excellent environment for the local community, with good schools, medical facitilities, transport links, library and local shops.
